Earth Reno Concert reviews
Mixed reviews
Trisha’s surprising appearance was an added bonus to Earth's exceptional band, heightening the positive experience of his performance as an outstanding musician and excellent entertainer. First of all!
We found the venue to be a challenging environment as a couple in our 70s, with uneven turf, inadequate lighting, and unusually long and very dusty walking distances being foremost in our challenges.
Waiting for 2 1/2 hours standing on a bus shuttle to return us to our vehicle at the fruit farm parking site was more difficult than the other challenges we faced.
At the outset of the evening, the bathroom facilities were adequate and well supplied from a sanitation standpoint. However, by mid-point of the evening, they were sorely lacking in care and supply and attention.
During the concert, no announcement was made to deter smokers from smoking in the main venue setting once darkness fell, despite the venue being established as a non-smoking environment with assigned smoking areas. Many smokers lit up as a result.
Similarly, no announcement was made asking guests to drink responsibly during the evening. Moreover, only beer was being sold up and down the aisles as a beverage to the exclusion of water and soda, which resulted in distracting drunken behavior from the guests around us during the concert.
We would certainly hope to have a future opportunity to hear Earth in concert, but it will not be at this venue.
